Claude certifications: what changed in 2026
Anthropic's Claude certification program went from one exam in March 2026 to four role-based exams in July 2026. This page lists the four exams, their codes and domains, and each change with a link to the Anthropic or Pearson VUE page it comes from.

- March 12, 2026
Anthropic launched the Claude Partner Network and the first exam, Claude Certified Architect - Foundations (CCAR-F), available to partners. It said more certifications for sellers, architects, and developers would follow later in the year.

Anthropic published version 1.0 exam guides for all four certifications, effective July 2026. Each guide lists the exam code, time limit, passing score, price, and domain weights.

Anthropic added three role-based certifications: Claude Certified Associate - Foundations (CCAO-F), Claude Certified Developer - Foundations (CCDV-F), and Claude Certified Architect - Professional (CCAR-P). They join CCAR-F. Anthropic said more than 36,000 consultants at more than 1,300 organizations had been certified since March.

Rules for all four exams
- Who can take the exams
- People at Claude Partner Network organizations. Membership in the network is free. Registration needs a partner email address on a recognized company domain.
- Registration
- Through the Anthropic Partner Academy (Skilljar) and Pearson VUE.
- Delivery
- Online with OnVUE, or at a Pearson VUE test center.
- Time and passing score
- 120 minutes. Results are a scaled score from 100 to 1,000, and 720 passes all four exams.
- Validity
- 12 months. On-time renewal is a free, non-proctored assessment.
- Retakes
- Up to 4 attempts per rolling 12 months. The wait is 14, 30, then 90 days after each failed attempt.
- Language
- English only.
